Alibaba CTO Warns 90% of AI Projects Will Fail Within a Decade

China is poised to emerge as the epicenter of meaningful AI innovation, according to Wang. Domestic projects like Alicloud's infrastructure and the Qwen large language model demonstrate the technical sophistication required to survive the coming industry shakeout.
